Ferdinand Barbedienne (France 1837 - 1905)

"The Sacrifice", a pair of greek amphoras vases with gilt bronze handles decorated with classical scenes and grapes, musical instruments and garlands, standing on a tripod decorated with Hercules heads, signed by F. Levillain e F. Barbedienne. It is possible that this type of vase was edited from the bronze vase exposed by Ferdinand Levillain (Paris 1837 - 1905)at the Salon of 1875 under the title "The Sacrifice".
