Italy, late 18th century
in purple and amaranth ebony and bois de rose, finely inlaid with neoclassical patterns, rectangular surface, sliding tablette on the front, five drawers and hidden compartments, pyramidal legs with bronze terminals. Made by an high quality carpenter, this desk shows a simple and elegant structure, a great attention for details and a very high quality of materials.
