Ippolito Umberto Biraghi was an Italian painter and poster artist, born in Milan in 1913 and died in the same city in 1980. His artistic career developed mainly in Milan, where he lived and worked throughout his life. Biraghi is known for his artistic sensitivity and his ability to combine painting with the art of advertising posters, standing out as a restless and creative figure in the Italian art scene of the twentieth century. His production ranges from figurative paintings to works related to visual communication, with a preference for contemporary themes and an always effective and intense execution. Biraghi participated in several collective exhibitions, including the '14 pittori al Circolo Zenit' show in Milan in 1953/54.
